Dolphin / Whale Watching

The Strait of Gibraltar is a great permanent residence for many species of marine mammals.

A boat would take your family, or group of friends, on a watching tour through the highest probability areas in order to be able to watch, in their natural habitat, the biggest pods of dolphins ( common, bottlenose, and striped dolphins, flying fish, sunfish, etc.

The family group of dolphins can range from two or three, to several hundred.

The Strait of Gibraltar is privileged to see sperm whales, humpback and long fin pilot whales, and sometimes minke whales.

Unlike the dolphins however, whales are unfortunately not as common a sight,

It takes about 1h and 20 min drive from the house to get there.

MEDITERRANEAN SEA - KAYAKING TOUR

Exceptional guided journey offering waterfalls, hidden beaches, crystal clear waters to enjoy some of the most pristine coastline around. It’s essential to know how to swim, and be able to paddle ( people with reduced mobility can still go as a companion in a double kayak). Minimum age: 6 years old.

AQUARIUM

It is located in a small building in a beautiful marina. full of restaurants and shops. It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the house..

You will encounter almost every type of Sea creature imaginable, and find species from the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Oceans, and the Red Sea.

This unique interactive aquarium takes visitors on a journey through a world of colorful fish, darting seahorses, sea turtles, etc..

Children will recognize the orange and white Nauti, with his blue and yellow companion, both of them known to us from the movie Finding Nemo.

You can also find a selection of shellfish of all sizes, piranhas, octopus, and other cephalopods, jellyfish, sharks, and 2 otters.

It is an interesting and entertaining voyage of discovery for the whole family.

It opens all year round, and there is a terrace cafe with views of the marina.

PARASAILING

Experience and enjoy from the sky the incredible views of the southern Spanish Mediterranean coast, from up to 650ft high ( you also have the option to fly a lower altitude).

Parasailing can be enjoyed alone or with a companion. It requires no skill whatsoever,

Weight limit restrictions (441 pounds - 200kg)

The ride in the air is about 10 min.

Just 10 minutes away from the house.

SCUBA & SNORKELING

There are more than 100 diving sites along the 240km of stunning Mediterranean Costa del Sol.

I would take your group to the best areas for it.

Southern Spain is home to enormous diversity in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

Year round diving conditions, but best diving is from April to October. Underwater temperatures are from 60F or 16 celsius degrees in winter to 75F or 24 celsius in summer.

Discover beautiful Mediterranean corals and unique cliff fauna. Hidden coves beneath cliffs create a unique natural environment full of beaches of uncommon beauty to be explored with your friends or family.

PRIVATE SAILING - THE STRAIT

Great experience for your family or group of friends. 4h 0r 8h day trip accompanied with drinks and a bite or even a catered dinner on request. Possibly dolphin sighting, and having the chance to fish. Snorkel gear, masks, floats and more are provided

It is about 45 min away from the house.

BATH /HAMMAN

FISHING PRIVATE TRIP (DEEP/BOTTOM TROLLING)

Marbella has been recently named one of the best fishing holiday destinations in Europe.

Mediterranean shorelines are ideal for fishing. The proximity of the Atlantic makes it even better. It creates a meeting of warm and cold waters, which attracts lots of fish species as part of a migratory route, making this area one of the most spectacular deep sea fishing destinations in the world.

Fishing for swordfish is an spectacular experience. You can also find Tunny fishing, Frigate Mackerel, Sea Bass, Black Spot Sea Bream, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Red Tuna, Grouper fish, Blue Marlin, Pink Dentex, Albacore, Skip or Amber Jack, Blue fish, Red Sea Bream.

PRIVATE CATAMARAN

Your group can enjoy an epic experience by getting a Catamaran just for you! Departing from one of the world’s finest marina located 20 minutes away from the house.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the sun. Amazing views of the southern Andalusian coast.

KITE SURF & WIND SURF

You can practice wind surf across from the house, but I would recommend to drive your group to the surfing capital of Europe, the town of Tarifa ( 1h and 30 min away from the house).

Tarifa is consistently windy, with views across to Morocco.

Around these beaches, you could easily find the strong westerly sea breezes called ‘ Poniente’ (westerly winds), or ‘Levante’, desert easterly winds.

Surfing in this area is permitted all year round here, although limited to zones between June 15th and September 15th.

The atmosphere, vivid nightlife, and lifestyle makes Tarifa the most unique place in Europe to surf.

Great adrenaline activity! This modern day water hoverboard, connected by a long hose to a jet boat or jet ski, will provide you lots of fun while flying over the Mediterranean.

It reaches a maximum of 32 feet height ( 10 meters).

Your group will be able to enjoy this activity 15 minutes away from the house.

WATER PARK

This park is a is world of water and fun. It is located about 20 minutes from the house. Perfect for unforgettable moments with family or friends with lots of slides, rapids, and a surf beach area with wave machine.

It offers more than 30 slides ( 19 for adults and 15 for children) in an area of about 17.3 acres (70,000m2). You can try the highest slide in Europe called Kamikaze ( 72ft or 22 meters long) and many other attractions. It also has several restaurants, green areas, sunbeds, and an 18-hole mini golf, a playground for kids and a jacuzzi-style pool.

Children’s area with wide, safe slides and spa circuit-like showers.

Minimum height for main slides: 48 inches (1,20 cm).

It opens from May though September. Most crowded month would be August.
