PALACE & ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

Located 1h and 30 minutes from the house

This Palace located in Ronda is one of the town's most visited buildings, not only because it houses the Municipal Museum, but also for its Moorish courtyards, gardens and stunning views, the building evokes memories of kings, queens and governors who ruled and called Ronda their home.

The noble Main Hall is worth special mention for its impressive Mudejar wooden marquetry. The building has a genuine Moorish pedigree. If any building in Ronda deserves to be called the house of the Moorish king, this is it.

The small museum located inside this Palace, has about 600 boxes with about 17,000 bags containing all kinds of archaeological materials from various sources. This leads us to understand this museum as one of the most important depositories of archaeological materials emanating from the interventions carried out in the area.
